Wendron made it two wins on the bounce with victory in the Jolly's Cornwall Combination League on Saturday, but Falmouth Town slumped to a heavy defeat away at St Ives.
Paul Murray's side thrashed St Agnes 4-1, moving them to seventh in the table with a game in hand on all the teams above them.
Meanwhile an under-strength Falmouth Town reserves team went down 6-1 at the Saltings against St Ives.
The game marked the second time the two sides have met in a week, following Falmouth's 1-2 defeat against the Saints at Bickland Park in a bad tempered opening day game.
Penryn Athletic Reserves were unable to follow up their midweek home win against Falmouth Athletic with another three points away at Mullion.
The home side ran out 2-0 winners, moving them up to ninth in the table.
And there was defeat for Porthleven away at Illogan RBL, who maintained their unbeaten record by putting four unanswered goals past Tony Robert's side.
Falmouth Athletic slumped to a 2-3 home defeat against table-topping St Day, leaving Athletic still searching for their first points of the season.
But newly-promoted Redruth United continued their fine start to life in the Combination League with a home win against St Just.
The result leaves Redruth fourth in the table and still unbeaten.
