Penryn Athletic held on to fourth spot in division one west after a 2-2 draw away at Vospers Oak Villa on Saturday.

A Villa own goal and a David Broglino penalty were enough to secure a point for Penryn, who play John Dent's Penzance on Wednesday night.

The Magpies were 2-1 winners away at Bude Town, moving them up to sixth in the table, but it was a less succesful afternoon for third place Callington Town who were thrashed 4-0 at home by Truro City Reserves, who seem to have hit a purple patch under new manager Anthony Reynolds.

In the absence of a game for Wayne Quinn's Mousehole, league leaders Sticker moved four points clear at the top of the table with a comfortable 3-1 win away at Dobwalls.

But Porthleven slipped to seventh after a disappointing 2-1 defeat away at Holsworthy.

Wadebridge Town will hope to have turned a corner after a stuttering start to the season following their 5-1 thrashing of St Dennis at Bodieve Park, and Perranporth squeaked past lowly Foxhole Stars at home, winning by a single goal to nil.
