Falmouth Town slumped to a heavy defeat away at in-form Ivybridge in the South West Peninsula League premier division.
John Dent's side were on the wrong end of a 4-0 scoreline against the high-flying Bridgers, who move into second spot in the league following Bodmin Town's 1-0 win over Plymouth Parkway.
Defeat sees Town hovering precariously over the drop zone, just a single point above Tavistock - who have three games in hand - and four points ahead of basement club Liskeard, who were thrashed 5-0 by St Blazey.
And it doesn't get any easier for beleaguered Town; they host third place Exmouth at Bickland Park next weekend.
Eslewhere in the premier division Launceston beat Bovey Tracey 2-0, and Tavsitock drew 2-2 with Elburton Villa.
Full premier division results were as follows:
Exmouth Town 1 - 0 Camelford
Ivybridge Town 4 - 0 Falmouth Town
Launceston 2 - 0 Bovey Tracey
Liskeard Athletic 0 - 5 St.Blazey
Plymouth Parkway 0 - 1 Bodmin Town
Tavistock 2 - 2 Elburton Villa
Torpoint Athletic 1 - 0 Cullompton Ranger
