Andrew Butler scored a hat-trick as Dennis Annear's Porthleven side were demolished 8-0 by in-form Sticker at Burngullow Park.

The results stands in stark contrast to the Charity Cup game played between the two sides just a week ago when only a stoppage time penalty for Sticker prevented Porthleven from progressing.

Goals from Bowyer, Rosevear, Kenny, Ralph and Brown completed the rout for Sticker, who leap frog Mousehole into top spot after Wayne Quinn's side saw their game against Wadebridge postponed.

Meanwhile Penryn were lucky to come away with a point after two late goals at Kernick Road snatched a point for Steve Jewell's side against the Magpies.

Penryn remain third in the league, three points above Dobwalls but having played two more games.

Vospers Oak Villa ensured Truro City's reserves suffered a miserable journey back from Devon after they beat the White Tigers 3-2.

Results from divsion one west were as follows:

Bude Town 3 - 1 Foxhole Stars
Dobwalls 2 - 1 St Dennis
Penryn Athletic 2 - 2 Penzance
Sticker 8 - 0 Porthleven
Vospers Oak Villa 3 - 2 Truro City
