Ben Mc Donald is celebrating winning the racketball finals held at Falmouth Sports Club on Friday, November 22, with Cameron Briggs winning the racketball handicap final.

Runners up were Simon Curtis and Simon Banfield.

Racketball is the fastest growing racket sport in the UK, and Falmouth Sports Club is fortunate to have an excellent coach in Siobhan Garland, and a vibrant membership.

Hence, competition for the trophy was extremely hot with a high number of entries.

Club Chairman, Cliffy Voller said: "I was so proud of all the players. There was great participation for all age groups and abilities this year.  Jerry Thomas and Siobhan Garland both did a brilliant job with the handicaps and organising the tournament."

Racketball membership at Falmouth Sports Club is growing steadily.  It is an all year round sport played on a squash court, but with short-handled rackets and a bigger, bouncier ball.

Siobhan offers regular coaching sessions at the club. For further information, contact Falmouth Sports Club on 01326 311056.
