Penryn's hopes of a repeat performance of last season's derby victory over local rivals Truro were dashed as Western Counties West's in-form side proved too strong at St Clement's Hill.
Truro ran out comfortable 24-0 winners to move up to third in the table.
In one of only three games to survive the weather injry-ravaged Penryn proved no match Truro, who were bolstered by the recent signings of Lewis Vinnicombe and Darren Jacques from Redruth.
Elsewhere in Western Counties West Bude scraped past Okehamptoin 24-0, and Devonport Services beat Wellington 62-16.
