Former Helston Atheltic goalkeeper Jason Robertson will sign for Falmouth Town today (Wednesday).
Robertson has been playing for Combination League side St Day as an outfield player after leaving Helston earlier in the season.
But he looks set for a return to goalkeeping duties when Falmouth play Elmore at Bickland Park this weekend.
Town manager John Dent said: “Jason came and trained with us last week, and you can see what a good goalkeeper he is.
“With Danny Burrows unavailable for this weekend’s game he’ll go straight into the side.”
Robertson’s transfer to Falmouth had been held up due to Hugh Howlett’s recent arrival from Helston.
Cornwall FA rules prevent any club from approaching the same club for another player within a 28-day period.
