Falmouth Town's hopes of signing former Helston Athletic goalkeeper Jason Robertson appear to have been dashed, with the player now expected to stay at Combination League St Day.

Town manager John Dent was hopeful Robertson would put pen to paper on Wednesday night, helping provide vital cover for first choice keeper Danny Burrows who is unavailale for Saturday's game against Elmore.

But due to last minute complications Robertson's move appears to be off, and Dent said he would now look elsewhere for cover for the absent Burrows.

Falmouth Town face Elmore at Bickland Park in the SWPL premier division this Saturday, kick off 3pm.
