Falmouth Town 1 Elburton Villa 1

Falmouth Town manager John Dent said he was pleased with a point at home against Elburton Villa on Staurday, but felt his side could have gone on and won the game.

Villa took the lead before a Dan Richardson penalty levelled the scores, but both Joe Cooper and Rob Wearne had chances to put Town two goals to the good.

The result means Falmouth are four points clear of Cullompton Rangers in 17th place in the Peninsula League premier division after Rangers were beaten 2-1 away at St Blazey.

Elsewhere St Austell thrashed Bovey Tracey 5-1, and there were goals galore in Devon as Torpoint Athletic hammered Elmore 7-3.

Full premier division results were as follows:

Bovey Tracey 1 - 5 St Austell
Elmore 3 - 7 Torpoint Athletic
Exmouth Town 1 - 1 Launceston
Falmouth Town 1 - 1 Elburton Villa
Liskeard Athletic 0 - 3 Godolphin Atlantic
St.Blazey 2 - 1 Cullompton Rangers
Witheridge 1 - 3 Newquay
