Porthleven made it three wins on the bounce after staging a superb comeback at Gala Parc to beat Penzance 5-3.

The Fishermen were three goals down and seemingly heading for defeat against a Penzance side struggling near the foot of division one west.

But Dennis Annear's side staged a remarkable comeback, hitting five unanaswered goals to take all three points and move up to tenth in the table.

Port host division one west promotion candidates Callington at Gala Parc this weekend.

Elsewhere in the SWPL last night St Blazey dented Plymouth Parkway's title hopes with a surprise 2-1 victory over the Devon club at Blaise Park.

Bobby Oaten's Blazey side visit Bickland Park on Saturday.

Newquay bounced back after defeat against Falmouth Town with a 2-1 victory over Camelford away from home.

And Elmore moved above Falmouth in the SWPL premier division with a 2-1 home win over Bovey Tracey.
