Falmouth Town suffered back to back defeats after losing 3-0 away at SWPL premier division leaders Exmouth Town.

The Devon club were two goals to the good at the break, thanks to first half strikes from Jamie Moore and Kevin Hill.

A Lloyd Gardner penalty sealed victory for Exmouth on what was a good day for all the teams in the top ten.

Indeed, if John Dent's side can take anything from this afternoon's result, it is that none of the teams around them managed to earn any points.

Cullompton Rangers were thrashed 2-5 at home by Saltash, Elmore were thumped 2-6 at home by Plymouth Parkway, and Tavistock - who sadly failed to helicopter in former Aston Villa midfielder Lee Hendrie in time for the game - were beaten 2-0 by Godolphin Atlantic.

Bodmin Town, lurking back in fifth but with games in hand on both Exmouth and second placed Ivybridge, scraped past Launceston by a single goal at Priory Park.

And St Austell added to Newquay's considerable woes since the turn of the year by demollishing the Peppermints 6-0 at Poltair Park.
