Mark Goldsworthy scored five as Helston Athletic tore Holsworthy apart at Kellaway Parc to keep their SWPL premier division promotion hopes alive.
Charlie Young opened the scoring for Helston, with Dan Stidwell bagging a brace and Jamie Thirkle pitching in with a goal of his own as the Blues ran riot.
The result leaves Sid Taylor's side two points behind Callington Town having played two games more.
The Blues face Mousehole in the league this Tuesday, KO 6.30pm.
Elsewhere Callington remained two points clear of Helston in third after they scored a 93rd minute winner at home against Sticker.
Penryn Atheltic returned from Bude with three points after a 3-1 win, and Porthleven drew 1-1 away from home against Perranporth.
