Falmouth Town boss John Dent said his players produced their worst performance of the season after seeing them give up a one goal lead to lose 2-1 at home against Bovey Tracey.
The result means Town are still not mathematically safe from the drop, although relegation rivals Cullompton and Tavsitock would need to perform minor miracles to go above Town in the SWPL premier division.
Dan Richardson gave Falmouth the lead in the 29th minute, but second half goals from Bovey forwards Lewis Plackett and Frazer Clarke secured victory for Kevin Moyles's side.
Dent also hit out at rival managers who he says have been critical of Town's attempts to sound out new players in preparation for next season.
