The sun was shining over Mullion FC over the Easter Holidays as Plymouth Argyle FC ran two coaching sessions for children aged five - 15 years, with over 40 boys attending over the two days.

The sessions not only taught the children some football skills but also put them through their paces and at the same time incorporating fun throughout the day.

The day started at 10am finished at 3pm. The morning was spent doing skills practice, then lunch and afterwards a team building exercise based on creating an ideal football team followed by a match in the afternoon.

At the end of the day, parents and friends were asked to watch whilst awards were given out. Winners were Kyle Ford - Player of the Day; Cameron Wheat & Matthew Bray - Overall Best Attitude and Behaviour; Cory Beard & Reuben Gilbert Coaches Spot Prize for Best Attitude.

Ryan, the senior coach from PAFC said 'It has been a fantastic day with all the children really working hard and showing a great attitude. Their behaviour has been exemplary and I can't thank Mullion FC enough for really supporting us with the event and allowing us to use their facilities. I'm looking forward to the next event in May'.

Club Social Secretary, Carolyn said: "It has been a great day and we are grateful to PAFC for coming to share their experience with our players of the future. The boys worked really hard but also seemed to have lots of fun, it was really lovely to see so many happy and smiling faces."

The Club are planning the next PAFC coaching for Thursday, May 29, bookings can be taken now at only £12 per child, per day (£5 for members - which is a bargain as Junior Membership for the year is only £5!)
