CRICKET: Camborne secure Vinter Cup semi final spot
CAMBORNE will meet defending champions Falmouth in the Vinter Cup semi finals after beating Beacon by 39 runs on Monday evening.
The hosts scored 131-8 in their innings with Ryan Du Plessis top scoring with 40 before they were able to limit their opponents to 92-9 as bowler Craig Johnson getting figures of 4-12.
They now meet with Falmouth at Helston on Thursday, June 26, to fight out for a spot in the final against either St Just or Truro next month.
