ROUNDS in the mid 60s were good enough to win the President’s Putter at Budock Vean Golf Course.

Kevin Bate won the men’s side of the competition at the course in Falmouth after shooting a solid net score of 63, pipping club captain Paul Upperton by a single shot.

The women’s competition saw Lesley Upperton secure first place with a net score of 66, beating Gill Sulley by five shots.

As winners, both Bate and Upperton were presented with putters as a prize by club president Brian Martin.
