A BOAT from Falmouth finished in first place during an international regatta held in Ireland held between Tuesday and Friday.

The Insatiable, skippered by Tim Cunliffe, won the IRC Four class section of the Volvo Cork Week after recording top three finishes in all nine races it took part in.

Also onboard the vessel as it sailed to victory were Jonny Vyvyan, James Bull, Matt Osborne, Niels van Dinther and James Gray, with their captain praising the work they did during the competition.

Cunliffe said: “Our success is down to a great team with excellent crew work and a fantastic boat.

“Above all, we always remember that whatever the goal is and however serious the event we will always keep enjoyment as the top priority.”
