CRICKET festivals for school pupils in Cornwall held over the summer term have reached their climax.
The Cornwall Cricket Board organised 14 events around the Duchy, including one at Helston.
The events saw primary school pupils play kwik cricket, which sees teams play a high-speed version of the sport.
Pupils from Years 4, 5 and 6 took part in the competition with over 80 schools around the county entering.
St Just Primary School came first in Year 4. St Breock Primary School, in Wadebridge, took home first place in the Year 5 section.
Camborne’s St Meriadoc Academy won in the Year 6 category. St Stephens Primary School where the winners for the girls competition.
Organisers from the Cornwall Cricket Board thanked all the clubs who provided their grounds for the festivals.
