PUPILS at Helston Community College swapped their notebooks for the athletics field to take part in their sports day.
A number of track and field disciplines were done by the students throughout the day.
Among the events were the 100m sprint, javelin, long jump and high jump.
The weather stayed fair for the event with the competition proving to be entertaining for spectators.
After the final races were run, it was Gunwalloe House who ended the day as 2014 champions.
Their captains Carmen Muldoon, Kara Wong, Bella Corbridge and Jack Hocking collecting the trophy from chair of governors Graham Vallender.
