THINGS are suddenly looking better for Leedstown as they won again on Saturday.

This time they beat Perranarworthal at Fraddam Road after being set 208 to win. The visitors made 207-6 with Ben Johnson hitting 108 not out and Ashley Mugford and Brian Fisher both made 28.

Luke Stuckey hit 136 not out to see Leedstown to only their third win of the season. They are still bottom of the division three table but only a point behind Beacon and five points behind Barripper with six games to play.

They have a tough ask on Saturday however as they are away to promotion chasing Botallack & St Levan.

Praze kept up the pressure at the top with an eight wicket win at Constantine. Ben Tunnicliffe took four for eight and Damian Lynes three for 34 to bowl Constantine out for 76.

Darren Griffiths top scored with 28. Lynes then made 33 not out and Ben James 31 not out to steer Praze to a swift win.

Porthleven were shot out at Truro’s Boscawen Park for 91. Nick Rowe was the only player to make double figures with 29.

Truro passed the score inside 20 overs for the loss of three wickets with Neil Bartlett taking two for 34.

Luke Clark made 55 as Helston seconds won at Gerrans by 66 runs and Mullion seconds had a 30 run home win over Stithians with Daren Turner making 44.
