ONLY two Stithians batsmen got double figures at leaders Penzance in a seven wicket defaet.

Hugh Williams made 31 as they got to 42 before losing their first wicket. Skipper Nathan Strick made 29 before being seventh out at 103. Ben Brooks took four for 37 and Matt Stevens three for 25.

Chasing 121 to win, Brooks led the home reply with 48 not out after Liam Devine and Josh Fletcher both made 28. Callum Martin, Colin Weeks and Kieren Webber took a wicket each.

Constantine had an off day with an eight wicket defeat at home to Praze. Only Darren Griffiths with 28 offered much resistance in their 76 all out.
