A SCORE of 52 was enough for Ray Crebo to be victorious in the Men’s Scanlon Trophy at Praa Sands Golf and Country Club on Sunday.

His round put him two ahead of Dave Rollason while Matthew Lawrence came third with his round of 57.

Fourth place went to Simon Phillips who scored 58 and beat Lester Pickhaver on countback.

On the same day, Linda Dunford and Lily Hiscott won the Ladies’ Val’s Greensome competition with a score of 36 points, pipping Di Lyons and Barbara Wilkins by one point.

Caroline Hardman and Jennifer Chambers finished third with Linda Gale and Judy Harris coming fourth.

Margaret Richardson and Scott Willett claimed the Praa Sands Goblets with their score of 59.5 which beat Sue Harvey and Ryan Semmens by two points.

Wednesday’s nine hole Stableford was won by Judy Harris after scoring 19 points, with Caroline Hardman finishing second on 15.
