LOCK Charlie Davey has agreed which has seen him move from London Irish Wild Geese to the Cornish Pirates for next season.
The 22-year-old who stands at 6"7 in height completed the transfer on Friday from the club who feature in the National League Three London and SE division.
Alongside his appearances for the Wild Geese, Davey was also a senior academy member from Premiership side London Irish.
Pirates director of rugby Ian Davies said coaching staff at Mennaye Field have been keeping an eye on the forward since he first came on their radar two years ago.
Davies said: "Charlie is young player who came on trial two seasons back.
"Since then we have monitored him and are pleased he has agreed to join us.
"Charlie has the physical attributes to make an impact at Championship level."
