FALMOUTH Town let slip a two goal advantage to fall to a 3-2 defeat away at Elburton Villa in the South West Peninsula League Premier.
Both the Ambers' goals came in the first half of Saturday's game between the teams at the wrong end of the league table at this early point of the season.
But the hosts came out fighting in the second half and managed to turn things around to earn three points and jump one place above Town.
In the West division, Helston's good start to the season continued as they won their sixth game, an 100 per cent record so far, at home to second placed Illogan RBL.
Goals from Mark Goldsworthy, Andrew Westgarth and Jason Robertson gave Athletic a 3-1 victory.
It was also a good day for Porthleven as they won 2-0 away at Holsworthy.
