FEMALE golfers from around Cornwall went to Falmouth Golf Club to play for the Ladies Open.
Teams of three fought for the 2014 title with representatives from the host club joined by counterparts at Mullion, Praa Sands, Truro, Perranporth and China Fleet along with several other courses.
None of the visitors could match the score of Falmouth trio of Jenny Dunstan, Lynn Innes and Janice Binions who topped the leaderboard with a score of 83 points.
Second place went to Mo Hammond, Vicki Lee Cummins and Kay Willets, who play at Falmouth, Perranporth and Newquay respectively, with their tally of 79.
An all Perranporth team consisting of Vera Eade, Sara Shobrook and Liz Gillman came third on 78.
Falmouth trio Liz Lloyd, Margaret Wallis and Gill Norris finished in fourth position with 77.
