PIRATES: Starting 15 unveiled for season opener with Yorkshire Carnegie

COMPETITIVE debuts have been handed to Adam Jamieson and Marcus Garratt for the Cornish Pirates in their match against Yorkshire Carnegie on Sunday.

The duo were named in the starting 15 for the opening Greene King IPA Championship game of the 2014/15 season which kicks-off at Mennaye Field at 3pm.

Full-back Matt Evans will captain the team after Chris Morgan picked up an injury in the Pirates' friendly with Redruth last Saturday.

Tonight the Pirates host Bath University in their final pre-season match.

Subs: 16 Aaron Carpenter, 17 Jamal Ford-Robinson, 18 Tyler Gendall, 19 Will Graulich, 20 Joe Atkinson, 21 Gavin Cattle, 22 Mike Pope.
