IT was a good day at the office f Mullion in the Cornwall Combination League as they defeated Troon 7-0 on Saturday.
Doubles from Phil Cattran and Ben Casley plus strikes from Rob Carey, Alan Thomas and Joe Lugg saw their side cruise to victory.
Falmouth Town's reserve team also had a joyous day as they halted league leaders Redruth United's good start to the season wi goals from Sam Bromley and Dominic Pullen giving them a 2-1 win.
in a local derby at Underlane, visitors Helston Athletic Reserves came out on top with a 3-1 win over Wendron United.
Their goals came from Andy Miles, Ben Leach and Jamie Thirkle, while Justin Miles grabbed one for the hosts.
