FOOTBALL: Helston fire six past Perranporth in cup while Penryn win again
A HAT-TRICK from Mark Goldsworthy helped Helston Athletic fly through to the Second Round of the Walter C Parson Cup on Saturday.
The Blues beat Perranporth 6-1 in the first round of the competition with Charlie Young, Tom Russell and Andrew Westgarth also getting on the scoresheet.
They next meet Penryn Athletic on Wednesday at Kernick Road in South West Peninsula League action.
The Borough have moved to third in the West Division table thanks to a 2-0 win at home over Liskeard with David Leech and Ben Oliver grabbing the goals.
Wednesday's game kicks off at 7.30pm.
