JIM Duffield took home the Men’s Monthly Medal Division Two and the Rider Cup Trophy at Praa Sands Golf and Country Club on Sunday.
His score of 59 points saw him triumph while the Division One title of the medal went to Nigel Waters with a score of 62.
A day earlier, the club’s lady captain Phyllis Williams hosted her Captain’s Day with a Stableford competition being played.
Alison Jacka score 34 to claim victory on countback from Linda Dunford, who would win the day’s nearest to the pin contest.
Also held as part of the event was a nearest to the line competition, which was won by Judy Harris.
Other contests played at the course during the week included the Mount Prospect Trophy, which was claimed by Phil Moseley with a score of 32 while Caroline Hardman won the Ladies’ nine-hole Stableford on Wednesday with 17.
