FALMOUTH Town came from two goals down to win their FA Vase second qualifying round tie 3-2 against Ashton & Backwell United.

A 66th minute own goal by Mike Connor completed the turn around for the Ambers as the visiting centre back nodded past his own goalkeeper from a throw in by Ed Timmons.

The start had been an awful one for Town as they conceded after just 34 seconds when they failed to clear the ball in their box, allowing Lee Pitman to score.

Leon Britton doubled the lead after 14 minutes when his head met Ben Bament's cross from the right.

Town needed to wake up and did so with Kayne Trevaskis putting strike partner Harry Evans through, who finished the move off as he slide a shot past Lewis Coombes.

This made the match a more even affair and after the break, Evans went from goal scorer to provider as he put Josh Burton through to equalise.

Momentum was firmly with Town at this point and the comeback was finished off ten minutes later by Connor's own goal.

The visitors finished the match with ten men after substitute Paris Allen received two bookings.

He made a dramatic departure from the pitch as he was physically dragged off by team-mates before throwing off his shirt and shin pads before finally being bundled into the dressing room.
