CHRIS Menhenick's header saw Falmouth Town fall to a loss at Launceston on Saturday.

The South West Peninsula League Premier game had been dominated in large parts by the home side but it took them 70 minutes to breach the Ambers line.

This was largely down to the goalkeeping brilliance of Jason Peters who pulled off a number of great saves during the game.

He had to keep out several shots in the first half as Launceston pressed hard while in the 63rd he got a fingertip to Sam Davey's low header from six yards out to push it wide.

The pressure finally told though as from Sam Scott's corner, Menhenick popped up to nod the ball home via a deflection.

Next up for Falmouth is an away trip to Plymouth Parkway in a week's time.
