SID Taylor believes his Helston Athletic side need to sort things out off the field to re-find their early season form.
The Blues’ 4-1 defeat at home to fellow South West Peninsula League West title chasers Penryn Athletic on Saturday was their fourth defeat in their last six league matches.
After their latest loss, Taylor admitted the players have been critical of their own performance and attitudes recently.
He added the team need to bounce back quickly to get their promotion push back on track.
Taylor said: “At the moment we have to concentrate game-to-game and sort ourselves out off the field, whether that is coming together in training or doing something else.
“It is a horrible feeling because inconsistency is a hard thing to put your finger on what is going wrong.
“But we are struggling and we need to get together as a team, look at each other and see what we can do better.
“They are a good squad and I’m not sure whether it is a case that the belief has gone or they think they can just turn up and win, but we must find the good form again.”
