A THRILLING encounter was had between Falmouth’s One and All side against Bodmin Reserves at the Recreation Ground.

Bodmin never went behind but Falmouth gave good chase with early exchanges being fierce and uncompromising with big tackles coming in from both sdies.

But the advantage was gained by Bodmin who proved to be masters of the turnover, foiling many attacks by the hosts before dotting down in the 35th minute with a catch and drive from a line-out.

With the score at 5-0 at half time, the home side came out fighting and Dom Fearn got a try to level matters with a great individual effort going the length of the pitch.

However, Bodmin hit back with two more unconverted tries to open a ten point margin before Casey Scott got over again for Falmouth to make it 15-10.

Another couple of tries were bundled over by the visitors before Chris Hesling touched down for the One and All with Mike Trevelyan adding the conversion.

The hosts could not close the gap any further, but they came off feeling happy with their display.
