WENDRON CC A hold a six point lead at the halfway point in Division One of the West Cornwall Winter Pool League.

Helston RBL B moved into second spot as they defeated the Angel Hotel by the same score and Helston RFC B moved a little closer to the leaders with a 7-2 win over the Bell Inn A.

Paris A came from 3-2 down to defeat Helston RBL D 6-3 and wins from Alan Magill, Steve Southgate, Kirk Bird and Mike Woodyear helped bottom side White Hart A to a 6-3 win over Helston RFC C.

Potters Bar B still lead Division Three after they gained a 6-3 win against the Crown Inn last week, but their nearest challengers are now Helston FC B who had an 8-1 win against Black Swan A.

The Five Pilchards came back from a 3-2 deficit to defeat Lizard FC C 6-3 and Helston RFC D edged a 5-4 win against Breage SC.

Out of the Blue A won 7-2 against the Black Swan to maintain their challenge in Division Four and wins from Jack Williams, Josh Penrose and Rich Trewern helped the Queens Arms to a 5-4 win over the Three Tuns.

The Atlantic Inn were 4-2 down against the Wheel Inn but won all three doubles to gain a 5-4 victory while the Red Lion A team had a 6-3 victory over Potters Bar A.
