REVENGE was dished out by Falmouth Under 14s as they got one over on Helston after losing to them earlier in the season.

A full strength home side were in good spirits for the match and controlled the early exchanges with quick recycles of the ball to keep it moving constantly.

This was rewarded with Joe Carmichael dotting down twice before Billy Bateson and Issac Hayes added tries of their own.

An excellent individual run by Theo Fleming saw him go over before the half time whistle.

He had been busy in defence too as Helston kept pushing for a try of their own, but came up against stiff opposition with Bateson, Lewis Pirrie and Daniel Whitford all working hard.

Helston did end up getting a try towards the end, but this came after Bateson, Fleming and Jack Blakeston had added further gloss to Falmouth’s score.
