JACK Nowell has been selected in the England starting XV for their Six Nations clash with Ireland in Dublin on Sunday.

National team coaches announced their squad this morning with the Cornishman who is a star player for Aviva Premiership club Exeter Chiefs named as one of two changes from their starting line-up match with Italy a fortnight ago.

The 21-year-old, who featured in last year's Six Nations before injury ruled him out of England's summer fixtures and Autumn Internationals, replaces Gloucester winger Jonny May.

Saracens' Alex Goode is the other change to the starting XV as he replaces the injured Mike Brown at full-back, while on the bench prop Henry Thomas replaces Kieran Brookes.

England head coach Stuart Lancaster said: "Alex is in good form for Saracens and has been training well over the last few weeks, as has Jack, who is also playing well for Exeter.

"Both have been pushing hard for selection and I am sure will seize their chance against a high quality Ireland side."
