JUNIOR netballers from Penryn celebrated the season they have had with their annual trophy presentation evening.

Prizes were handed out to players from the club’s Under 12s, 14s and 16s teams who play in the Cornwall Junior League.

Player of the season awards went to Rosie Glover, Aimee Philips and Beth Winnan across the age groups while most improved gongs were given to Lily Hennesey, Lucy Murray and Dee Williams.

Success on the court was had by the Penryn Emeralds who lost just two games all season on their way to being crowned U14B Division champions.

Third place finishes were secured by the Penguins, Sapphires and Diamonds in their respective divisions while the Puffins came eighth.
