JON Dawe has replaced Max Venables in Cornwall's starting line-up for Saturday's County Championship match with Hertfordshire.

The Cornish All Black winger's inclusion is the only change made to the side who have won their first two pool games, putting them just 80 minutes from a Twickenham return.

Following their tense 22-16 victory in Kent on Saturday, head coach Graham Dawe urged supporters to really get behind the team at the Rec for the crucial tie.

Captain Kyle Marriott echoed these thoughts when looking ahead to the final group game.

Marriott said: "There were some tired bruised and battered bodies at the end of the game these guys fought hard for the shirt today.

"The travelling supporters from Trelawny’s Army and London Cornish and elsewhere was again awesome and turned this game from away fixture to one played on a neutral ground.

"We would love to see Redruth be a real fortress on Saturday with the black and gold not only visually, but noisy and in numbers to spur these guys on."

Kick-off on Saturday at Redruth is 3pm.
