A TRIO of yachts have confirmed they will be participating in the 2015 edition of the J Class Falmouth Regatta.
Competition organisers have announced Lionheart, Ranger and Velsheda are set to be on the start line for the event which will take place from June 22 to 27 at the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club.
Races are expected to take place along Falmouth Bay and around the coastline with spectators able to watch from action from Pendennis Point and nearby beaches.
In a joint statement, RCYC organising team members Peter Visick and Robin Taylor said: "To see the return of the J Class is a great honour for the Club.
"With a history of hosting Big Boat Classes since 1924, we are delighted the magnificent J Class yachts will once again grace the waters of Cornwall.
"Our Members will help provide total support for the event and all eyes will turn towards Falmouth in June of next year."
