BOATS ventured out again on Sunday for the COGS Gull Rock Manacles race.
A fleet of 17 yachts from clubs including Royal Cornwall, St Mawes and Helford with a long course set as south-westerly winds blew.
The faster boats completed the race in five and a half hours while the back end of the field finished 60 minutes later at Flushing Sailing Club.
Starting at Pendennis, the yachts went past a cargo ship as they went towards the first bouy, Manacle, before they got their spinnakers out with the wind now behind them.
The final mile of the race was interesting to watch as the lead changed several times and eventually Pasco's Jaguar, skippered by Chris de Glanville, won the IRC class.
The COGS Handicap race was claimed by Xenia, with Wally Royal onboard as captain.
