BUDOCK Vean Golf Club hosted the Ron Cook Memorial Trophies last week, played in memory of the popular member.
The ladies took to the course first for the Stableford-formatted competition with Phillippa Oliver winning with a score of 33 points and Barbara Craig claiming the runners-up spot from Nina Hann on countback after both got 32.
When it was the men's turn, they also played for a medal alongside the trophy.
David Penrose hit an outstanding net score of 62 to pick up the title with David Allen picking up second place on countback from Rob Gibson.
Presenting the prizes to both the winners was Cook's wife Pam and son Ron.
In a separate Stableford played earlier in the week by the senior members, Tony Grace's excellent round of 40 was enough to win.
