ST Gluvias were exposed to the realities of life in County Division One again on Saturday when conceding 343 at Gorran.

Top scorer for the home side was Tom with his 81 runs including ten 10 fours and four maximums, with Andrew Julian be the pick of the away bowling attacking with three for 46.

In reply, Scott Kellow and Jake Preston were both out with only 16 on the board before Ryan Dallimore, 68, and Matt Julian, 56, added 106 for the third wicket, but eventually the Saints were all out for 216.

Falmouth seconds got a superb win at home to high flying Rosudgeon by three wickets with a ball to spare.

Jacob Stephens took three for 28 to restrict the visitors to 214-6 and Falmouth were 96-6 before Paddy Varkar made 74 and Tom Hoban was unbeaten on 39 in a tense finish.

Praze suffered a surprise home defeat to Crofty Holman after making 182. 


Grant Rowe hit 35 and Tom James 34 for the home side, but the visitors, who started the day second from bottom in Division Two West, won by five wickets with Dylan Caddy making 44. 


Praze slipped down from second to third in the table and next up for them is a top of the table game at Paul to complete the first half of the season on Saturday. 


Leedstown suffered a ten wicket defeat at home in Division Three West to Hayle seconds after being dismissed for just 85, with Ty Hendra top scoring with 17. 


Hayle knocked off the runs inside 20 overs with Ryan Pascoe making 35 not out and Andrew Gouldthorpe unbeaten on 45.

Division Three leaders Constantine escaped with abandonment at Mount Hawke and Porthtowan after fog enveloped the north coast.

Tom Williams made 129 not out as the home team hit 308-5 in 47 overs with Joe Vanstone taking two for 72.

Constantine were 63-2 after seven overs with Jacob Johnson making 28 and Darren Griffiths 25 not out.

Perranarworthal suffered a four wicket home defeat to Mullion after being bowled out for 185.

Mark Hall’s 67 steered Mullion to victory despite Dave Taylor’s two for 25 from his twelve over spell.

After a good start Porthleven collapsed to 159 all out against St Gluvias seconds with Sam Duckham taking four for 40.

Jack Hesketh made 45, Neil Pearce 39 and Colin Kruse 36 not out in the Saints’ win.
