ST GLUVIAS continue to get to grips with life in County Division One following a five wicket success as Beacon, writes Michael Weeks.

The hosts got off to a poor start losing their first three wickets for 23 to Scott Kellow.

Rob Trembath, 38, and Darren Proctor, 28, dug in before Gareth Mankee, 23, and Dan Thurgood, 35, got the total to 194.

Kellow took five for 61 from his ten overs and captain Jon Udy ended the innings in the 45th over with three for 25.

The Saints slumped to 28-4 losing Kellow, Jake Preston, Matt Julian and Ryan Dallimore cheaply.

However, Udy, 55, and Richard Kellow, 89, shared a match winning stand of 173, with Mankee taking three for 33.
