The winning Acorn Multi Sport team
FALMOUTH Cricket Club hosted their annual 6-a-side tournament on Sunday with a suitable half a dozen teams entering.
The Hine Downing Oval was the venue for all of the games which saw the sides split into two groups of three.
After the pool stage was completed, the teams who progressed to the final were defending champions The Gardeners and Acorn Multi Sport.
This year the Gardeners could not hold onto their crown as their opponents, skippered by Liam Hoban and also featuring his brother Thomas and dad Mike in the squad, reached their target of 46 in the fourth over, thanks to a undefeated knock from Paddy Varker.
