PRAISE has been pouring in for Andrew Westgarth after his appointment to Falmouth Town.
Soon after the new Ambers player-manager was unveiled, tweets were sent to the striker congratulating him on his job.
Among them was former Premier League footballer and Falmouth-native Matthew Etherington, who is from Falmouth.
He tweeted light-heartedly to Westgarth, saying: “Good luck pal, me and @jamesmiller10 as assistants?"
Good wishes were also paid by Helston Athletic manager Sid Taylor, who signed Westgarth to the Blues last season.
Taylor tweeted: “Well done @FalmouthTownAFC the right choice local man @theboywest local players #thewayforward [sic]”
Cornwall rugby star Darren Jacques tweeted: “Good luck for the season westy put Falmouth back on the map.”
