PENRYN Athletic made it 11 goals in two South West Peninsula League West games as they thrashed local rivals Wendron United 6-0 on Wednesday night.

After stuffing another promoted side, Plymstock United, 5-0 in their last league outing, Athletic continued their goal scoring form at Kernick Road with six different scorers to boot.

Sean Johnston opened the scoring in the 13th minute before Dave Broglino doubled the lead on the stroke of half term.

Scott Palmer added the third ten minutes after the break and Ryan Chinn and Ollie Moody both got on the scoresheet.

Proceedings were finished by Ryan Reeve as he slotted a penalty kick home with the last kick of the game.

In the same division, Porthleven were put to the sword at Gala Parc as early league leaders Mousehole won 5-2.

The hosts took the lead through Ryan Trathen before Mark Vercasi and Bradley Wills put the visitors ahead.

An equaliser was found for Port by Ben Leech, but seconds before half time, Wade Brown made it 3-2 to Mousehole.

After the break, another goal from Brown plus a Jake Andrew strike made sure the three points went to the away side.
