IN a dramatic u-turn, the Cornwall FA have decided to abolish their new rule regarding rearranged games in the South West Peninsula League next season.
A leak from inside the corridors of power had stated that teams would be awarded half a point each for postponed matches, rather than having to reschedule them.
However, that source proved to be unreliable and their claims were not substantiated, leading a furious insider to comment: "If that is what he told the press, then he is a fool. And more fool you if you believed such a ridiculous story."
