The Carlsberg South-West Peninsula League has announced that Macron have become the newest official partner and sponsor of the league.

The sportswear company already has a long association with the league, having been ball suppliers from the start of the league in 2007 and with joint proprietor Trevor Mewton having managed successfully several member clubs in the past.

Now the firm, which has three stores in the region, has become an official partner and taken over the sponsorship of both the annual Best Ground Awards and Best Programme Awards in each of the three divisions.

The firm will continue to supply the league with the official match ball, although how clubs collect and order these will change (clubs will be advised directly about this).
