FALMOUTH'S Mayor Grenville Chappell presented medals to Falmouth Town Youth under-14 team following their success in winning the Kernow Youth League and Cup.
Manager Paul Murray thanked all the parents for their support throughout the season and also their Secretary, Sandra Tregidgo, for all her help. Thanks also went to Steve Browning as coach.
All the players came from Falmouth School wanting to play football in the Kernow League and the team have only been together for this one season. Following the presentation of the medals, captain Louis Caban presented the mayor with a club tie.
The mayor presented individual awards to James Godwin, Top Goal Scorer; Jake Miners, Most Improved Player; Toby Manser, Manager's Player; and Tony Doble, Players' Player.
Next year the club is looking to develop and Under 9 and 10 mixed team and a new Under 16 team.
