MORE than 90 teams braved the soaring temperatures at Wendron on Sunday for the annual Sharon Wood Memorial tournament.
Clubs from as far as Plymouth competed in the football festival in a day that began at 10am and finished around 6pm.
Peter Thorne, who organises the event with Treve Matthews, said: "It was fantastic day and we must thank the parents as well as the players for their patience in what was a long, hot day."
